Excellent article Kelly! Would that the world was a more accepting place for all. Our differences are what makes living worthwhile. It makes me sad to see all the people who don't have space in the world for those who aren't just like themselves.

Compassion and tolerance are the opposite of polarization. A start. Remind politicians they have a responsibility to run the government. Even decide what to fund. And not to impose their will. Why is cruel behavior tolerated? Stop it! Demand capability and common decency with respect. Beware social issues masking pure greed. Follow the money.
