But my grandson holding a 90 year old’s hand in an ambulance in Seattle. Staring at his name tag. “You related to Kelly, we used to live in Fairbanks, loved his writing.”

Crazy isn’t it? I never take those recognitions for granted! The value of words we share is immeasurable.
I so miss the local outdoors pages in local newspapers.
Thank goodness for the TNC filling a conservation role and mission that governments with their constraints, especially now, too often cannot.
